One of my favorite vacation escapes is Walt Disney World in Orlando, #Florida. All of Disney is magical to me, but Animal Kingdom is my favorite!
Once inside the gate, you have a choice of many wonderful places to go. Straight ahead and central to this land is the 145 feet tall Tree Of Life. It has 300 carvings, so the challenge is to spot as many different creatures as you can. Water birds in small habitats line the walkways, and around the roots of the tree are pools and meadows that are home to live animals like flamingoes, lemurs, and tortoises. On the “island” are adventures like “It’s a Bug’s Life” which is hilarious.
